Hi Everyone! Thanks for dropping by and checking out the VERY FIRST BLOG from Penguin Palace! We are extremely excited to introduce one of our new Clear Stamp Sets to you!
Today, I have created a card from our new Sweet Ride stamp set!!
This 4x6" stamp set is ideal for everyday 'just-because' cards, and also special occasions such as weddings and honeymoons.
It features a classic vintage car (front and rear views), an adorable couple, gift, diamond ring, flower, hearts and other fun accessories and sentiments.
Today, I've created a scene showcasing a couple riding along on the classic vintage car on a super nice sunny day.
First, I stamped out the cute little couple and the front view of the vintage car on smooth white card stock with Momento ink.
The images were coloured in with Copic Markers.
They were then die-cut with the Coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts: Sweet Ride - Penguin Perfect Cuts.
I then prepared the background using Distress Ink from Ranger. I first did the sky in Peacock Feathers.
Next, I mask-out the blue sky and followed by using Walnut Stain for the road, and finished-off the lawn on the sides using Mowed Lawn.
The die-cut images were adhered to the background with foam adhesive squares.
To make the vintage car look more alive and fun, I've also cut out the windshield of the car and glued acetate onto the back.
For the added dimensions, I've used single layer foam tape for the couple, and double layer foam tape for the car.
I then finished off both sides of the background with some tree die-cuts, and created the bright sunny day with the die-cut image of a sun from our Love Train stamp set.
A greeting from this stamp set was stamped on black cardstock with Versamark ink, and heat embossed with white embossing powder and then trimmed and adhered at the bottom with foam adhesives.
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
I can't wait to produce another card with this stamp set by creating a wedding proposal scene with the sparkly ring accessory.
Thanks so much for visiting and have a great day!
