Hi there! I'm very excited to share with you this simple and quick A2 size card featuring our Hedgehogs In Love Stamp Set!
This 4x6" stamp set is great for 'missing you' or 'thinking of you' cards featuring adorable hedgehogs critters and other heart-warming sentiments.
Today, I've created a scene showcasing a cuddly hedgehogs couple 'star(heart)-gazing' in the night.
First, I stamped out the hedgehogs silhouettes on our Essentials smooth white card stock using Momento black ink.
I then coloured the image with with Copic Markers.
I used RV17 and RV19 for the hair ribbon; E25, E27, and E39 on the hedgehogs' bodies.
I also stamped our the quote bubbles with the I LOVE YOU sentiment inside and coloured it with pink shades Copic Markers.
These images were then die-cut using the Coordinating Penguin Perfect Cuts: Hedgehogs in Love - Penguin Perfect Cuts.
I then prepared an A2 size card cardbase (5.5" x 4.25") in the portrait orientation.
To create the falling hearts background, I cut a piece of our Sandstone Series Hot Lips fine paper into 5.5" x 4.25" size. This will be the backing to my die-cut cardstock to be made next.
I have used the Falling Hearts die-cut from Simon Says Stamps on our Mysterious Galaxy heavy weight cardstock which will be placed on top of the Hot Lips vibrant red paper.
I then cut out a piece of the Precious Gem Premium fine paper in Jade of approximately 2" x 4.25" size to create the grass scene near the bottom of the card.
I also die-cut some fencing using our Sandstone Series Cool Granite heavy weight premium cardstock in gray.
I stamped the "SMOOCH" image with Versamark ink onto the red fine paper, and heat embossed with white embossing powder and then trimmed and adhered it to the fencing with foam adhesives.
The critters were adhered to the background also with foam adhesive squares.
I finished off the card by stamping a sentiment inside the card.
This was simple yet fun to make. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
Thanks so much for visiting and have a great day!
